Grayson County Technology Center Groundbreaking
ClotfelterSamokar, along with state leaders, staff, students, board members, and community members, proudly celebrated the groundbreaking of the Grayson County Technology Center, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for education and innovation in the region. The existing Grayson County Technology Center will be completely transformed with a new 39,000 square foot addition and renovation of existing Lab spaces. The facility will provide a variety of programs for students including Marketing and Business, Health Services, and expanded programs for Welding, Automotive Technology, Construction Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Robotics, and Pre-Engineering.
Equipped with cutting-edge tools, modern labs, and interactive digital resources, the facility will ensure students gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant equipment. The adaptable classrooms and collaborative spaces are going to be designed to support various learning styles, encouraging innovation and critical thinking. With a focus on real-world applications, the renovation will also enhance student engagement, preparing them for college and future careers by bridging the gap between education and industry.
